Ahhh xanga..how is my blog site. haha.

So I remembered that I should maybe log on because Vanessa's left all her travels from Japan on this site so I decided to peruse. Then I saw a comment from my last entry and it was Nicole exclaiming at how little I logged in. Well then here I am again.

I'm waiting for my stupid convocation to be over with. I can't even imagine sitting there for 2 hours of my life listening to names be read out before my 30 seconds of glory. Lame lame lame. Sorry but that's just the way I think of these things. The best part must be having two of my aunts and a cousin visit from overseas to see me..we've had a couple days of good shopping and sight seeing..and gee I hadn't seen them in 10 years so what the hell right. Anyway as I remembered they are good fun and a very good humored bunch.

I think I've kept myself pretty busy after exams working 2 jobs and all..but then again its pretty boring. I was pretty lucky to get 3 days of beach time in last week..then the downpour begins and we are stuck inside. Had a fun day out with some of the girls, some good London Drugs shopping, lots of good television with the 2 weeks of season finales .Gray's Anatomy rocked, the OC was disapointing, ANTM turned out as I wanted, and Desperate Housewives was definately entertaining but there are too many psychos on that show. Haha I can't believe Trey from sex in the city is back.

Anyway I'm typing way more than usual .if pictures from grad turn out good I may post..yeah who knows, my dress that I bought at work rocks! haha.

So I'm getting pretty run down by the semester already..chasing down my references for grad school. (Finally found professor "Alpha make" as I'd like to refer to him as today to double check that he's on track!) I'm just hoping I'll make it..looks like alot of people want to do grad school this year.

Had a pretty entertaining weekend which started Thursday evening. M and I tried to go to Chambar's tonight, but I totally forgot they were renovating. I know M's been missing the Vancouver resteraunt scene..haha..being in S.America for so long. Anyway we ended up at CinCin's, thank god it's open late. Had a lovely mushroom risotto, the roast duck with foie gras (yum!), and then a hazelnut creme brulee that was accompanied by their house made hazelnut gelato (incredibly refreshing). To top it off, a bottle and a half of red wine. What a perfect way to spend the evening...don't have to deal with the frenzy of Dine Out..which makes me think of my reservations at Circolo with a certain Mister who I don't even want to hang out with.

Friday at the Buffalo club was quite entertaining..it was a beautiful day too, walked from my place to Kit's beach and enjoyed the sunshine. We really need more of that!

WAtched the Canadians get hammered Sat. night at the Firkin. haha..I also watched Creep Show that night..anyone ever see that stupid horror movie? It's kind of Sin City'ish. Then last night I saw Match Point. I was impressed and the trailer's attractiveness made the movie to be all that I though it would. I love when you can't predict the ending..which was twisted, leading you to think that one thing would happen, but then it wouldn't..that Woody Allen I must admit..though a disgusting perv, is quite clever.

Anyway, it's the beginning of another long week and damnit I need to find a new placement for my field work course. Wish me luck..(damnit I really need to cd shop)

Where's the sunshine...finally i get a couple days off and 2/3 days has been overcast, not enough light to get toasty.

So I'm more moved in now..and having fears about sleeping there..the girls now are so messy but I'm hoping the next two won't be.

I'm so bored..time to go runningggg.
